Awesome place to live!!

This apartment is the best one so far for me! Location is the best in Knoxville, and even more awesome is the awesome leasing office staff and maintenance staff. They would always listen to you and get any issue resolved quickly and the most professional way.

Still very happy!

I have been living at The Grove for a few months now and am still extremely happy with every aspect of the community! The staff are extremely attentive to the needs of their residents and the property is well maintained. I have had nothing but a positive experience so far.

Great Place but the dated builings don't detract from noise.

The place is wonderful. Maintenance is top notch, super friendly and very quick. Management is always timely in notifying all residents if any preventative maintenance is being done, whether its through emails or a simple note on our doors. Amentities could be better, as some units don't have any ceiling lights. Some outlets are connected to light switches which is nice, but I wished they provided ceiling lights. and if you want nicer applicances and nicer paint you have to pay a premium, as the complex has 3 "tiers" of renovation selection. Noise is a huge turn-off though. If you're looking at any units on the backside of the complex, close to Morrell Rd, you'll hear every single car that drives by. Sound creeps in through the windows so it seems as though the windows aren't at all insulated from sound. However my neighbors are all super quiet so I normally don't hear a peep out of them. As for cost, they're average. A 2 bedroom 2 bath I share with a roomate is $1125 a month. I guess that's average for the area though. Also your rent will increase everytime you renew, which I guess is not uncommon, since costs increase with inflation and rent of course has to be increased to keep up with costs. Here it increased 2.7% or $30 after we renewed the 1st time, and If I plan to renew again it'll increase another $30. I see apartment reviews all the time where tenants complain of "sudden" rent increases. Here they tell you 3 months in advance when rent increases. It's just the cost of renting, nothing you can do about it, frankly. Location is top notch too. A 5 minute walk from Food City, 5 minute drive to the YMCA, West Town Mall, and I-40 so its incredibly convenient. All in all its a solid place with a lot of benefits, but not without its fair share of issues.

Great Place to Live

I have loved living at The Grove. It is conveniently located in West Knoxville close to shopping, dining, and entertainment. I have enjoyed all of the amenities here, which have made living here care-free. I do not hesitate to recommend this complex for anyone new to Knoxville and looking for a quiet and safe place to call home.
