Rent is too high
I've lived here 3 months. The apartment is noisy & stinky due to neighboring chicken plant. I should get a discount. Staff is great.
Great apartments unless
Unless yours is on the same side as the manufacturing facility next door. A lot of noise and dust kicked up by trucks defeating the purpose of having a balcony. Impossible to keep clean
good enough for some
2nd year I don't like moving but I do like being downtown so I'm still here. Industrial presence causing crushed road dust to perpetually be on my balcony (and every balcony facing that way lower than the 4th floor) makes using it pointless.
It's a mixed bag, lol but we like it here.
The staff is ok, no issues with them. The maintenance is fine. they respond promptly and will handle the complaint soon. I like the downtown location (yes pricey) but we can walk to many eating places, park your car and get some exercise! The new Food City with a Starbucks will be less than 3 blocks soon. You have great pizza next door, hot fish and donuts are across the street, and a great BBQ less than two blocks. We are on the side by the chicken plant which can be noisy, dusty, and smelly. After a while, we got used to it with no bothers. Accessing the parking garage is very rough via 17th st that needs to be repaved. You pay extra for parking. I like knowing that our cars are in the same location instead of trying to find a spot on the street. Unless you need to go to the mall, you should be fine in this area. We like the 5th-floor lounge, it has a nice view and is a nice place to meet other tenants. Decent weight room with TVs next to the pool. This is set up like a hotel which is nice. The negatives are nuisance things, not deal breakers. I'd recommend this place if you are looking for an apartment in this area if it meets your price point.
