Review of the Anderson

I absolutely loved my stay at the Anderson. I had an amazing 2.5 years and if I didn't buy a house, I wouldn't have moved. The location is great, I loved being able to walk to things downtown. The building was always nicely cleaned and maintained and the maintenance staff was on point. It was a little noisy due to the location (train, bar nearby), but that was to be expected of the area. Overall, it was normally pretty quiet and lively when it should have been (downtown RH events, which was so nice to be near those!). The staff was great and generally very nice, so it was always pleasant to deal with them. I will really miss living here! My main complaints that I thought could make the building even better: Add call boxes at every door. With delivery services being so popular these days, it's really annoying to have to explain that you can only buzz someone in through two of the doors. Delivery drivers often messed this up and it's easier for them to park on Main Street and run up that door that faces Wells Fargo, so a call box on that side of the building would have been really nice. It would be nice if there was a small dog run area. We live in an apt with no park walking distance nearby, but it's a pet-friendly building. fencing off some of the area in the back so that dogs can be off leash and play together would have been really nice. The smell of weed in the hallways is awful. The smell of the trash since they did the Valet Waste is awful. Valet Waste is super convenient, but I would rather save my $25/month and not have that stench in the hallway and take the trash to the dump myself. The fact that there is no pool is a real drawback - it's hot in the summer! Obviously, I knew that moving in, but this place is pretty pricey not to have a pool. Not sure if there's a way to coordinate with a pool nearby for access. All in all, I would likely rate the Anderson a 9/10 and would definitely recommend others to live here.

Review

I love living here but feel we pay too much to never have hot water and sinks that don’t drain well and other small problems caused simply by cheap cost cutting builds. The hot water is beyond ridiculous!

Security doors

The door hasn’t worked from the outside in almost 2 weeks. We’ve been having to go to different entrances to get in the building. Today is the first day it’s worked in 13 days( yes I’m keeping count) staff is great, I gave maintenance a 3 star for the doors and amenities.
