Great Location But Too Expensive

I love the apartments and location, but I feel they're overpriced in comparison to identical modern/contemporary apartments in other city's I lived.

Could be great

Security gates are constantly left open. People let dogs pee right next to entrances-nothing like some fresh air with a stench of dog poo. Breezeway light fixtures filled with bugs. Lots of temporary residents, so lack of respect for long-term residents. Pool deck furniture is getting dirtier and dirtier over time. Not allowed to be in pool past 8pm. Grills not kept clean. People can reserve the kitchen and clubhouse blocking access for anyone else to enjoy the amenities and usually on a Saturday. Staff is becoming snobbier. Rent is going up faster than inflation/income. Exterior doors and windows let too much noise through. Wasps are rampant this year. Litter lingers on hallways. Quality of build is terrible. Flooring always coming up, cracks from settling, etc. More dogs than people and many bark in their apartment when anyone walks by and it echoes in the breezeway and into the apartments. Some bark for very long periods of time. Have some neighborhood kids that love to scream for no reason, so loud that I can hear them 100 feet away with doors and windows closed. It's a fabulously shrill type sound. Location is great and gets better as things are being built around. It will be interesting to see what happens when the apartment complex down the street opens up. It feels like people here have become too big for their britches. I am hoping the opening reminds them to take better care and hire more staff to walk the property, etc.

Great Property and Management Staff!

Overall, I give the Indigo a 10 of 10 ! The on site Staff continues to do an Excellent job ! Sam and her office staff are Great and Sam always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. Doug and his Maintenance staff are amazing as well. They take care of all issues immediately and professionally ! Having leaders like Sam and Doug on the property makes the Indigo a Great Property !

We've been happy here

Overall, this has been a great apartment experience for us. The staff is top-notch! The complex is very nice and well kept. Our only complaint is that it seems like every one of our neighbors has dogs and there is a lot of barking. However, the apartments are very well insulated for sound, so the barking does not come through the walls much at all. It's mostly noticeable from outside the apartment. But, this is something to be expected from a pet-friendly apartment. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a nice place in a great location in Indian Land.

Way too noisy and expensive for a one bedroom apartment

I pay way too much for a one bedroom with wasted space, small closet, small washer and dryer, and noisy rude neighbors. I hate that they keep hiking the rent for a lousy apartment. Charlotte area charges way too much for rent. No affordable housing.
