GREAT location, BUT . . .

I have lived here 4 months. I pay top dollar rent but have old, partially functional appliances (especially laundry & heat). Kitchen appliances are OLD, beat-up. (I previously rented a unit 2 miles away, built same year for LESS rent which had a ceramic top range, built-in microwave, MUCH LARGER refrigerator. Same laundry units, but the washer and dryer actually worked. The washer spin cycle does not stop when lid is opened (basic safety no-no) and the agitator comes off mid-cycle which makes laundering anything delicate too risky (I carry those items to a friend's home & launder them there. Doesn't leave a good impression with her family & visitors when they ask why I don't do my laundry at my apartment!!) The apartment is peaceful and quiet - values I appreciate immensely. Broke a lease to move in and will do so to move out if/when I find a quiet peaceful unit whose amenities are consistent with the rent. If that were the case here, I'd not consider leaving.

I'm Happy

I've been living here for about 5 months, and I've been pretty happy. The location is easy to get from place to place, even if its not overly walkable. The rent is affordable, and the property is nice.
