What others love about this property:
It’s alright but overpriced
Other than the helicopter flying over head and scaring you in the middle Of the night and the high rent, this place is alright. The management team will charge you 75$ for a missing key and charge a crazy fee just to park… not to mention, they will toe your car even if you pay the parking fee if you dont change your parking pass without warning.
Good place to live
I like living here. Been living here since 2021. Maintenance is efficient. The noise level is low and its a good location. The apartment unit has a essential amenities. Parking is too expensive so I park on the street. The rising cost year to year is frustrating but I suppose that is everywhere in todays world.
Above average
This place is wonderful to live in overall and i'd call it the best apartment i've chosen. Staff has always been nice and helpful to me. My unit is great. I have had little to no problems with it. Only complaints I have are 2 things: 1, you guys accidentally towed my car out of the underground space that I pay for. That is a mistake because I was given the wrong hang tag which is ok, mistakes happen all the time, but it's the fact that you guys don't actually go down there and check to see who's supposed to be parked down there or not. I was told that the tow company themselves checks to see who can and can't park here which is kind of stupid in my opinion that you don't know who's being towed out of your garage. Please take the time yourselves and simply tell the tow company which cars to tow away 2, there are constant emails sent out regarding no smoking on the premises. I think that policy should be enforced, but I haven't dealt with any sort of odor from marijuana or cigarettes, so maybe it isn't me making the complaints, but all of my neighbors connected to my unit (left, right, top, below) are all extremely loud. That I would like to be enforced a bit more. Overall I love this place and I plan on signing another 13 month lease when mine is up in June. The complaints took up most of this because that is all I found that was wrong with this place, but there are way more things that I like about Xander that I dislike.
Review of Xander on State
I have lived here since October and it has overall been okay. I am on the hospital facing side next to the parking garage, which can get loud at times with car alarms going off, the helicopters landing, and trash trucks coming every day, so I wish I would have been warned of that ahead of time. Also, there are times when there are almost no parking spaces on the lower level (or no parking spaced except the spaces that are reserved), so that is also frustrating at times. Overall though, I've had a pretty good experience and have enjoyed living here.
