The end of carpet and rub off paint

Apartments today are really doing away with carpet and opting in on hardwood floors or tile. Carpet is very unsanitary especially for tenants with pets / kids and hard to maintain. Also the paint used to paint the units is very cheap and rubs right off easily leaving the unit looking old and lacking luster. There needs to be some upgrades to make the unit more sanitary and to help keep its luster. Thanks
