So far really good experience at 70 Columbus. Moved in 3 days ago and based on my first impressions, I expect this new apartment to be extremely pleasant and fun.

Lukewarm

I moved here to be closer to work, but now that we're navigating through the pandemic and I'm working from home indefinitely, there is no reason to be here after my lease ends. Amenities are fine, but no partial refund was honored for the months we couldn't use most of the amenities. Parking is not discounted for residents (and the garage actually RAISED their prices in the middle of a pandemic). I made a comment about the chipped countertop in my unit to maintenance on my first walkthrough, and no over ever followed up. I read awful reviews about never getting the security deposit back, and I wouldn't be surprised if that happens to me in a few months. A higher floor unit with the same floor plan was listed at a lower price when I was moved in for about two weeks, and Evan offered zero solutions in terms of the price discrepancy (it was a $75 difference at that time). Front desk is poorly treated by management, and all of the tenants witness this. You can also tell how poorly built the building is after the continuous construction going on around -- stress cracks everywhere and there are nails coming through the ceiling. The only thing going for this building is the location...which unfortunately is not worth much anymore at this moment in time.

Everything is good except rude staff

Some of the staff at the concierge desk are unnecessarily rude whenever I would get a lot of packages delivered. I just moved in so it is evident I will have lots of deliveries for some days. Please work on training your staff better. Thanks
