our home

Into our 13th year, we have never thought of leaving. We are seniors and find everything we need is here. It is nearly soundproof in our apartment. The courtyard is scattered with trees and the elevator makes 2nd floor accessible. The girls in the office have a monumental task of keeping things copacetic, which is not an easy accomplishment with so many apartments. Tyler our maintenance engineer is difficult to describe in only a few words, we are in awe of what he accomplishes. I have never seen him rest, HUMAN DYNAMO would best describe this guy. He goes above and beyond for us, could not do without him. There is something for everyone here. If you like privacy that is an option, If you like visiting you can find good friends here, options are on website. There are all ages living here, young singles,families with children and seniors like us. This is not JUST A BUILDING it is our HOME.

It's our HOME

we are today into our 13th year of calling Southwest Gables home. I can only speak for my husband and myself, we all have different needs and expectations. At 85 yrs of age I have however learned a few things. First if you expect constant perfection better wait for the afterlife. We must decide what makes our life satisfying to us. we desire quiet and experience this. If someone wants more action these things are available. When we consider office staff and incidentals, before complaining we consider who they answer to, we all have rules and they must follow LUND COMPANY dictates. The girls have taken care of our needs and wants as allowable, our apt. maintenance has been exemplary which brings me to TYLER. I watch him in amazement! AC went out last summer, taken care of in about an hour. refrigerator was an original appliance, new one next day. He takes care of three buildings and I have never seen him rest. Much more than a "maintenance man", he's a "caregiver". The people on our floor are diverse. some seniors making friends some young wanting privacy, many choices to be made all available here. I am unaware where this is made available for less dollars. We also have underground parking if desired.
