Not worth it

I have made Western Villas my home for five years and been witness to the quality and care of the property decline year after year as rent continues to make the large jumps "supported by real estate trends." The pool has not been opened in three years and the roof loses shingles with every strong storm. Under the new management, annual carpet cleaning, sidewalk/patio pressure washing, and quarterly air filter changes have all stopped. But they have added the cost of water as the tenant's responsibility. And this communicated only via a bill in the mail and a flyer in the door stating, "charges are correct and due." There have been at least four office managers in the past year. Trash consistently piles up and overflows out of the dumpster. This property spent decades being a hidden treasure in Clemmons due to the large floor plans of the townhomes, but now it is an investment opportunity for someone who clearly does not care about the property or tenants. Save yourself the letdown and look for another rental property to call home.

Opportunities Exist

Ive been a resident for nearly four years amd have seen the property slowly decline. The pool has been closed for two years yet remains listed as an amenity. The price point of these older townhouses should reflect the inclusion of a workout facility, accessible pool, and recycling. Also the roof needs replacement, shingles blow off with every severe storm. The exterior and interior was better maintained with previous management. For instance, the carpets were professionally cleaned, the exterior siding and patio porch were pressure washed annually. There is much to be desired for the current price point.

I was searching for a place and they provided me a opportunity. The main thing that's needed will be for staff to actually verbal communication with residents instead of a email all the time.
