Overall I Like Courtyard Lofts

First off, I really have enjoyed living at courtyard lofts! I'm going to explain each star rating for each category: Parking: Parking spaces are very narrow so that's a downside, and I also pay $100 a month to park (so not super cheap, but not the most expensive for Chapel Hill). Also the landscapers blow a lot of dirt on my car. Other than that, parking location is convenient. Amenities: There aren't many amenities provided inside the buildings, but all utilities (including internet) are covered except electricity which is nice. Maintenance: The maintenance workers are friendly to talk to, but usually take about 2 weeks to respond to a request. They also don't tend to wear masks in my experiences with them which is bad during a pandemic. The building and apartment are in good condition. Staff: Friendly to talk to and helpful. Don't work on the property so you'll have to email them if you need anything. Value: This definitely isn't super cheap, but splitting it with roommates makes it cheaper. It is good value for what you get and is also much cheaper than some other options. Location: It's great. You're on Franklin Street which is like a 5 minute walk to Fraternity Court and Granville Towers, so it's close to campus. You also get easy access to restaurants. Noise: Usually pretty quiet. The waste management people are loud if you're on that side of the building.
