Before completing an application, please confirm the following: Tenant Screening & Rental Application Policy Income: We operate under the Section 42 Tax Credit Affordable Housing Program, which means total household income must be under one of the following limits based on household size and apartment option available. 60% Units - 1 OCCUPANT = $52,500 - 2 OCCUPANTS = $60,000 - 3 OCCUPANTS = $67,500 - 4 OCCUPANTS = $74,940   The security deposit for this property is equal to one month’s rent. A Pre-Lease Deposit of $500 is due at the time of application. Once approved, the Pre-Lease Deposit will be applied towards your security deposit. The following is due at the time of application: Pre-Lease Deposit $50 non-refundable application fee per (age 18+) applicant Application fees must be paid in one of the following ways: Credit card or ACH (e-check) with an online application Money order or cashier’s check (payable to Hornig Companies) with a hard copy application All in-person applications must be turned in directly to the Hornig Companies office. Checks are accepted for security deposits with hard copy applications. Once approved for occupancy and prior to signing the Lease Agreement, the remainder of your Security Deposit will be due. I Love It Here

First off, I love the staff. Honestly, Kirstin Harrington was a deciding factor in moving here. I didn't know her, I'm not a friend writing a review to make her look good... she just really knew what she was talking about and her attention to security made me feel safer. Moving in was (as always) a bit of a pain because of stairs. There is an elevator but you need to climb a few steps to get there. Not a problem for most people but with RA, is more of a nuisance. I enjoy the apartment and the maintenance staff is incredibly responsive and keeps me informed. Parking can be a bit tricky if you don't have an assigned spot in the lot but it's not a deal breaker. At night it can get a bit noisy because there are so many windows, but the sounds are a strange comfort to me. Being on the corner of Franklin and Hennepin is a happen'in place! The building is great with the former hotel's original woodwork and basic design in tact, plus there's a BALLROOM! There are plans for fall and winter activities for the residents that I'm looking forward to. I moved here with my 5 year old so being close to so many parks, including one with a pool has been wonderful. The length of this review alone makes The Belmont worth at least checking into!

location location location

location is essential when living without a car. Public transportation is less than a minute away. Building is a classic and has character. well maintained, clean, and aesthetically appealing. it has been pleasurable living here for ten years.

It's a quiet building; I like that.

I have lived at the Belmont Apartments 2 years + 3 months. It's helpful to have Ryan, the office manager, in the building during his regular hours; he's a good manager.

AreAdA A ROOF OVERHEAD

100 year old building has its own charm. Rent is reasonable and hopes it stays that way. Well managed. Staff helpful. Would recommend.
