I like it a lot but i wish there was a place for me to securely park my e-bike as i have no other neans of transportation and habe to walk across town to my parents to get the bike. There is a bike rack but the slots are too skinny for my tires and it is not fixed to the ground. Id love to see some kind of outside building or structure for that sort of thing. I live on the second floor so bringing it into my appartment is not feasable

This place is concerning. It is a shelter to protect you from the elements, and it has running, hot water. The fridge and oven worked fine. Those are about the best things I can say. Our apartment was fine, mostly. The biggest issue we had was the lack of response from the office when there were maintenance issues. At one point we were gaslit by the manager saying our garbage disposal was supposed to sound like it was grinding glass and stones any time it was turned on. At another point we had water leaking out of the base of our kitchen faucet for about a month. The laundry machine and dryer were not functional for about 6-7 of our 15 months here. The longest stint of being non-functional for 5 months came to an end with a price increase on the laundry machine. From a safety perspective this place scares me. In the winter the base board heat blasts at full with no control from inside the apartment. I am concerned about other tenents causing fires with this situation. The lighting outside the building is abysmal with multiple broken lamps surrounding the property. I'm not sure who is using the dumpsters here, but there is a large amount of illegal dumping occuring. The dumpster is always surrounded by grimey old mattresses and futons. I am afraid to go near the dumpsters with the half dozen or so decrepit pieces of furniture litering the space on any given day as I don't know what kind of infestations or human waste/remains are on them. I am unsure where they all come from because there has been more furniture dumped here than there are rooms in both of these buildings combined. We cannot access the sides or back of the dumpster because of the furniture. This leads to people throwing their trash from a distance and it spilling over the sides of the dumpster leading to a more disgusting environment. My biggest gripe was the vertical hanging blinds that felt they gave no privacy, broke with regular use, and made a ton of noice with any amount of wind.
