This beautiful, historic, remodeled 1780s shipbuilders' home is located in Franklin's town center. (The property was formerly the Elephant Inn B&B and Franklin Tourist Information Center.) The house is 9 miles from Ellsworth, 22 miles from Bar Harbor, and 38 miles from Brewer/Bangor, with deeded access to the ocean - Taunton Bay is just across the road. Easy access to many diverse trails including the Downeast Sunrise Trail. Just down the road are public boat landings. $750 per month, UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED( Owner pays for water, sewer, heat, electric, trash, internet, yard and driveway maintenance). Single occupancy only and no pets. One year lease required. Current residency of this very large home: 4 people full-time, 1 very part-time. Everyone gets along well, when you actually cross paths- it seems like you have this place to yourself most of the time. To rent please Complete the application.
