love the place. just started moving in today.

Overpriced but Good location

I understand a lot of what determines the price IS the location, however, the size of the place is incredibly small. The appliances and bathroom was new when I moved in so that was great. And the appliances were good quality so, again, I understand they at least tried to justify the price. No Elevator, was no laundry on site for a very long time, parking is abysmal. I also had my boots stolen from my apt doorstep (weird right?) and they only have two horrible quality cameras on the whole property. Could use some more money towards the security system there. There is a hallway closet that could have easily been made as a part of my apartment. I feel like that little extra space (maybe 10 square feet) would have made a huge difference in how I feel about the space itself. Still, for the location (5 mins to work), new appliances and bathroom, I can tell Akelius is trying and I appreciate that.

Ned is the best maintenance guy EVER

I just want to say that I've lived in a lot of places but Ned is hands down the best on-site maintenance worker that' I've ever encountered. Whenever it snows, he stands out there all day long shoveling. Many times the area in front of the building is the only clear sidewalk in both directions. When I had an emergency with my sink he responded immediately, came over immediately, spent the time fixing it, then cleaned the area he was working. He even used his own paper towels. He's responsive, friendly, and awesome. The very biggest reason why I want to stay in my apartment is because I know I won't have any problems with him.

Great management, nice property, good location

Akelius really keeps things in fantastic shape, and I've never been in a building with such amazing maintenance support. The community here is respectful and quiet, and the neighborhood is quite fun.
