very disappointed in the office staff since new owners took over. They never answer the phone and rarely call you back. the lease contract changed when the new owners took over. This puts you under a bucket because you have to agree. Previous ownership took in consideration the length of time resident had been here when raising the rent. this company does not. The maintenance Patrick & Larry are the best. overall the community has changed and not for the better.
Great place to live
We downsized from a large house with a large yard over a year ago. I wanted an open spaced apartment with things my family could do when they visited. This was the right location for us being close to friends & family with access to main highways as well as Legends & activities surrounding it. We got an apartment in the main building on the top floor corner apartment. We have windows surrounding the apartment's open floor plan with high ceilings. We, as well as our family when visiting, used the pool/kitchen area/theatre/hand ball court/exercise room for 6 months before COVID. Since COVID we've continued to use the theatre several times a week & feel like we've "gone out to the movies" even though we stayed here. This is an amazing experience for us & we are very happy here. As we're seniors, it's our intention to stay many years as long as we're healthy & independent. I'd recommend this experience to anyone at any age.
A Wonderful Apartment
This apartment is fantastic. My only complaints are that owners aren't picking up after their dogs and that it's a little bit far away from a lot of Kansas City restaurants and coffee shops. I haven't minded driving to them that much though. I don't think I'll ever live in an apartment this nice and comfortable again after I move one day. Hopefully that isn't for a long time.
