Current Resident

Great building for smokers

Love the location. It is close to the train tracks so you will hear (and feel) the trains but it's never bothered us. The location is incredibly convenient to the train station and the restaurants and shops of Clarendon Hills. Prior comment on soundproofing is accurate. The walls are not soundproofed so you have to hope you have quiet neighbors. What's frustrating is the owners allow smoking on the balconies so if you don't like smelling and breathing in cigarette smoke then you have to hope you don't have smokers below you. We do and it's a constant barrage of cigarette smoke onto our terrace. You're also not supposed to smoke in the apartments, but other than sending e-mails about the rules, management doesn't do anything about it. We get cigarette smoke through the vents on bad weather days and have sent emails about this several times and nothing has changed. That's pretty much ruined our experience living here. The previous tenant before us had the same problem and moved out and we'll probably have to do the same.
