Good and clean
The unit is very beautiful and clean, the staff are doing a great job, the staff are awesome
The Pluses and the Minuses
I have lived here since November 2018. But some residents have been here for a decade or more. Usually, the considerate and pleasant staff tries to keep our building comfortable, clean, and safe, but some tenants don't respect that. Also, we have a few more serious issues. First, because of the number of senior and physically challenged residents, we need a designated parking space out front for PACE and other pickup and delivery services. This is especially needed for winter weather. Next, when one or both elevators break down, travel is difficult for many of us. Lastly, we need a buzzer system that works. We must depend on the front desk representatives to let in delivery people and visitors, including nurses and caregivers. What if staff is not available? Residents must negotiate this large courtyard building to get to the lobby. However, most of my neighbors are friendly people who pay attention to this older human being with a hello, and that can mean a lot, especially in Chicago, a big city where some people prefer to hurt rather than help.
