City Front

I love CityFront and the tenants are pretty cool as well. There are two areas that I didn't like 1. The elevators ( they suck). I have waited on numerous occasion to either go up or down. Unacceptable especially when you have pets that need to go outside. 2. The walls in the apartment should be more soundproof. I can't play my music without tenants hearing the music and it's not even at a loud level. Thanks God for a second bedroom that I have been using for this purpose. Also while I'm in the bathroom I can hear everything that is going on in the bathroom above ours. Not a wonderful sound at all. Just a few items that I didn't like.

CityFront Place

Parking: Convenient but directed and timely correspondence regarding events that affect cars is lacking. It could be tricky maneuvering when medium/big cars are parked in "small car" spots. The newly added dog walk added noisy fans (security concern) and a urine smell. When the area is washed, the runoff travels down under cars. Amenities: Great amenities. Fun building events. Security could be improved for the building as well as for the package room. Maintenance: Friendly and thorough maintenance staff. Staff: The majority of the staff is friendly and helpful. Love our weekday morning doorman. He's the best. Value: If rent stays as it is, then value is good. Location: Perfect location for the area. Close to the best Chicago attractions and slightly off the beaten path of tourists. Noise: Sometimes outside construction causes me to keep my windows and balcony door closed on nice days. I can hear other people thru the vents. They tend to turn on the air conditioning the first couple of nice days in March so it gets pretty cold in my apartment. Prior to COVID, my experience had been that residents were friendly, courteous and respectful. My experience during COVID has included disrespectful and inconsiderate behavior from some of the building residents. There are still plenty of friendly and courteous people here that make it worth living here. All in all it's a great place to live.

Great Staff and Maintenance but problems

Pros: James, our concierge is absolutely the best! So friendly and helpful every single day. Raul is also fantastic, and he runs a very responsive maintenance team. I appreciate how the amenities are being run during this time. Problems: Terrible elevator issues. During weekends, often long lines because of broken elevators. Not good in time of Covid, and feels dangerous. I wish management would communicate plans for a long-term solution. I also wish management would make it more clear that there is no pot smoking allowed. I smell it in my halls, stairwells and garage elevators.

A great place to rent for the location, service staff and management; all staff are very friendly and maintenance requests are well met with the needed service, if any. I would recommend anyone to reside here for all the best one can receive for the rent being paid.
