Jules on Third

To start, this apartment building is understaffed— which makes contacting the staff with inquiries/requests tricky as the one front desk employee working that day is often away giving tours. Any inquiry I have ever sent to Jules requires multiple emails and up to a week to get a response. Greystar, the parent company, needs to hire additional employees at Jules ASAP so there is consistently someone available to talk to in the office and phones/emails promptly. That being said, when I am able to get ahold of someone they are always helpful, courteous, and knowledge. The maintenance team goes above and beyond their duties to help out the residents. I ordered a couch to the apartment that was large and difficult for me move by myself. Without me asking, the maintenance team offered to move it into my apartment, on a top floor, for me which was a huge burden off my shoulders, literally and figuratively. Overall, Jules on 3rd is a great place to live. Quiet, right downtown, always parking available, very nice gym, super dog friendly, great shared facilities. The apartments themselves are also very cute and the walls seem thick enough- I can never hear my neighbors. My only complaints with the interiors are that the flooring is a cheap (sticker-like thin plastic paneling) which peel up easily and the shower walls are a thin plastic panel which also feel cheap and bend if leaned on at all. That being said, those are all minor complaints for a place to live. I’m very happy here and plan on staying as long as feasible.

Moved in late June 2021. Great NEW building, with some awesome amenities (that cost a lot monthly) and great neighbors (that haven't moved out due to ongoing issues). Rent is HIGH for area and deals are offered only to new residents, not renewals. Beautiful view of the park & mountains, close to shopping and activities. Well equipped apartment. Washer/Dryer, disposal. Friendly staff. Very bad HVAC interface app that has never connected. Management has given up trying to address the situation. Overcharged for trash monthly and shared electricity/gas, which should all have been in the monthly rent. No units even have gas, but we are charged for the use of outdoor BBQs. No communication access to building owners, only to management level. Whom to contact when there are issues with building management? Repairs take a long time and often require follow up visits that must be re-requested. Often great community events in the building, plus access to study rooms and pool table in lobby. New Brewery on site, merely steps away. Dog owner issues with barking and not picking up their droppings. Not just in the provided dog area, but around the building. All places have pros & cons. I was hoping since this building was new, they would have been worked out sooner. Still waiting. Management is stressed, but honestly care, even though their hands are tied.
