Great location, unfortunate rent increases.

We've lived at Latitude for almost 3 years and I love the location. The size of the apartments are spacious and the amenities are great! however, the grounds are poorly maintained as the hedges haven't been trimmed in over a year and there's garbage in a lot of the hall ways. Last summer the pool was green and closed down for a full month! You also have to request that your air filters are changed in the apartments. They never do it on their own. Another unfortunate situation is that the rent increases by almost $100 every year. We've had to negotiate it down many times and we've gotten away with it only increasing $150 over the course of the 3 years we've been here. Its ridiculous! They make you pay more for nothing. Over all the living has been nice, but I do want people to be aware of the 2 main negative issues before signing.

Lived here for 2 years plus...a recommendation in itself!

Lately, thru no fault of staff, but I believe unadvised residents, the garbage area has on occasion become really bad with garbage bags extending down the stairs. Also a white Mustang deliberately revs up, both early & late hours as though just to disturb residents. If there isn't already a resident rule in this regard there should be or the offender put on warning. Building 900 had developed an oil splash over entranceway (2nd to ground floor)and should be cleaned off before it becomes permanent. A gardener also talked to me about it and said he would mention it to Front Office management, whether he did or not is unknown.
