Decent living great area

I have lived here for a few years and have seen the property change hands with management. This new staff is nice and seems to want to improve things with some of the recent renovations. They are nice. However i will say, it was a journey getting here. About a year ago there was a huge issue with record keeping which caused the staff to collect back rent from a lot of tenants after new agreements were signed but their systems did not reflect that change creating a balance for a lot of people. Also once they lost my pay,ent and charged me a late fee. Thankfully i still had the official stub from bank. They eventually found my check and removed the late fee so i am thankful for that. Overall the upgrades are nice but unfortunately for many they may not be able to afford the community.

Love the staff!

Im new to the complex but the staff is amazing and thus far no major issues with the complex. Maintenance could be be better and theres way too much trash outside that I’ve witness maintenance drive right by.

Best for the Money in Chamblee

Having stayed in more expensive apartments in the same area, I would say that The Chatsworth is the best bang for the buck. Some may be newer and more modern, but having lived in both, the experience here is just as good. Additionally, the new managements is performing a ton of upgrades and working hard to enforce the rules that maintain the community. We are very close to Buckhead, Perimeter and Norcross. I'd definitely recommend paying a visit before deciding on anywhere else.

Just renewed for my 3rd year

Spacious is the 1st word that comes to mind. Although I was expecting a screened in porch, I moved into a 3/2 with a Sunroom instead, A lot more usable space. The Complex recently changed the kitchen and bathroom cabinets (fronts only) and new appliences in the kitchen with an added BONUS of an over the stove microwave, Neighbors are nice. It's a nice quiet family community. It's gated, But the gate is most often not working. Actually it's better broken!! When it does work it makes things difficult, especially when u use ur clicker to open and the person next to u who can't get in goes on your cue. Trash valet is awesome!! Parking is usually available near my unit. Walls are insulated well! I can't hear my neighbors! Upstairs is a different story but not too bad. In Conclusion I give the property a Gold Star and would recommend highly.
