I Love Living In Verandas
I’ve loved living at Verandas for 17 years. I realize that is not the norm. But for an older widow it is perfect. It is quiet, the management staff are GREAT to work with; the grounds are immaculate and the Maintenance Team is professional, very responsive and friendly. I’m safe, neighbors are friendly and im happy here.
Great Staff and Neighbors
Very friendly staff. They have been very responsive to our requests and helpful with getting us situated. Met our neighbors on day 2 and hit it off right away. I love this development!
Verandas at Southwood
This is a very noce place to live and it is fairly quiet and serene. I love the staff and the neighbors seem nice. I have not had any issues here that could not be resolved quickly. So I reaaly love staying here.
Value for the rent has declined
When I initially moved in January 2021, the rent was reasonable and I thought that the value I was receiving was very good. Although the property was not very new, the property was well maintained and the apartment was spacious with the expected amenities. However, with the increase in the rent in 2022 and also 2023, the value has declined. The rent is no longer reasonable for the age of the property. The property is still well maintained but this does not outweigh the increase in rent. Long time residents don't receive any savings in rent.
