Casa Santa Marta

Until the beginning of 2020, this place had been expertly run. From the front desk to the manager, maintenance to groundskeeping, the place was immaculate, welcoming, and a desirable residence. However, with a change in corporate culture of the management company, SPM, the place has never been the same. Residents are treated with disdain and as an inconvenience. We're on our third manager since the wonderful manager resigned (most of us believe she was forced out), the tenor of the place has gone downhill. I won't go into detail here, but suffice to say that the place is being run more like Fawlty Towers than an upscale, income dependent apartment complex. It's such a shame. Upper management is to blame and their mismanagement and austere policies have made this a miserable place to live. They have sucked the life and joy out of the place.

The property used to be managed expertly, and with the wellbeing and safety of residents the priorities. Everything changed in early 2020, when a corporate culture overtook the place, and the bottom line superceded everything. Since then, the place has gone downhill substantially. Residents are treated as in inconvenience, and management is passive/agressive. It's a shame.
