The best place ever. I love to live here

The property used to be managed expertly, and with the wellbeing and safety of residents the priorities. Everything changed in early 2020, when a corporate culture overtook the place, and the bottom line superceded everything. Since then, the place has gone downhill substantially. Residents are treated as in inconvenience, and management is passive/agressive. It's a shame.

The manager is very kind and helpful. She listens to the residents and goes above and beyond. The building and grounds are well maintained and always very clean. It is a very nice place to live.

The facility is very clean. They do a great job of keeping the seating areas current and fresh and inviting. The laundry room is very clean and well kept. The floors appear to be cleaned daily and there is no residue on the floors. The outdoor seating is inviting. There are always tasteful holiday decorations and enough activities to participate in without being overwhelming. We love the farmer's market baskets. The staff is very helpful and kind. My only "minus" would be the smoking area in the back but I understand the need for it. New residents are not allowed to smoke on the premises but it wouldn't be possible to make that retroactive, so I can appreciate the thoughtfulness of those residents who have already been there. It is a wonderful place with a wonderful staff! Thank God for the existence of Casa Santa Marta. I wish there were more places like this for people in need.
