Nice staff! Noisy Neighbors. Worthless Amenities

When I first moved in a little over 4+ years ago the apartment was very nice, quiet and the neighbors were friendly and considerate. The main entrance gate worked. Since that time, the main entrance gate has worked perhaps a total of 1 to 2 months out of the 50 months that I have lived here. I question the selection criteria for residents in this apartment. There seems to be in uptick in criminal activity (vehicle break-ins, drug abuse, and theft of delivered packages). The neighbors in the apartments above me are extremely noisy. I've submitted formal noise complaints to apartment management 4 or 5 times to no avail. There is loud music and exhaust pipe chatter blaring from vehicles all hours of the day and night. Cars fly through the neighborhood. It's only a matter of time before someone gets hit. I had to call the police on the previous tenants in the apartment above me for suspected domestic violence after hearing furniture/bookcases smashing against walls and hearing heated arguments and yelling. I also had to call the police on the previous tenants in the apartment below me for suspected drug use. After several instances where my apartment was filled with cigarette smoke and fumes from other narcotic drugs that smelled like a skunk sprayed in my apartment. I have always been a nonsmoker or non-vaper and work for the government, which has a no tolerance drug policy. The narcotic fumes in my apartment were so strong that I had to file a report to my job that I had possibly been exposed to narcotics because my coworkers could tell that my cognition had been impaired by my second-hand exposure to the fumes. The gym is a joke. The last time I went in they only had two dumbbells each of different weights. The treadmills and elliptical machines are nice. I have never used to pool. I have no complaints about the maintenance staff; they've been great! The office staff has overall been very friendly, toward me.
