Wonderful place to live!

This is going to be my third year living in Lakewood and it's been great! I love the 3 bedroom townhouse style of my apartment. I live in the standard, non-renovated one so I have carpet downstairs. However, I definitely would recommend a renovated unit if you don't mind the increased rent. What has kept me living here is the location and staff. It's located near plenty of stores and Archer road is barely 5-10 minutes away. Maintenance is always fast with responses when we need something fixed which is sometimes hard to find in Gainesville complexes. The staff are some of the nicest people around and I never feel intimidated or talked down on whenever I go to the office or talk to them on the phone. It is a pretty woodsy area towards the back of the complex but I have never had any problems with insect invasions lol; just the occasional bug after a hard rain. There is always plenty of parking so that is a big plus. I would recommend Lakewood to anyone looking for a new place to live in Gainesville!
