1 Year at The Pearl

My experience at The Pearl has been pleasant. While it is a bit pricey, the staff and maintenance teams are excellent. There are two disappointing rules are the use of the business center and the pool. The pool area only allows a maximum of 2 guests. While the pool area is large and has grills, seating and a great entertaining area of couches and big TV's, you cannot have your friends and family over for a gathering. The business center similarly does not allow you to meet with any non-resident there and this makes no sense as there is a conference room for meetings. I did give up a great dog park at my previous apartment, but I knew I was doing so. As we all know that we Floridians love our dogs and there is a big population of dog owners at The Pearl, I wish they had done a better job on the dog park. Overall, if entertaining could be improved, this is an excellent apartment choice.

Good location, difficult management

The property is nice enough and in a great location but the management is difficult to work with. They often don't answer or respond to calls and emails. They also only communicate through physical notices on the doors so if you are out of town you may miss things. Things in the complex break pretty often (the garage has been broken and left open 2 times in the last 5 months which is a security issue leaving cars vulnerable to break ins), water filters on the fountains in the gym go days or weeks without being changed, etc. The building has potential but management is totally nailing execution unfortunately.
