Great building and great location.

I say I think the building is incredible. It has a seating area outside, nice apartments for the price and a great location. I just wish all of these features would get a little bit more love and that maintenance would get a bit more support when trying to fix some of the issues in the building. There's currently a hole in the roof of my hallway that has been there for 2 months. There are pins in my floor that have stabbed my feet and maintenance is aware but is too swamped to focus on the task. The staff tries really hard to help. It just seems that the resources aren't there. Otherwise it is a great building with really great residents that try to make things as nice as possible.

Great Value

I moved into the 78 Olive st a few weeks ago and the staff is highly communicative, the residents friendly, the prices very reasonable and the location is amazing. I love living in New Haven but downtown was just too expensive come this year. When I found 78 Olive Street, I was beyond excited as it was much more affordable with the same amenities as some of the similarly aged buildings downtown. Also, I am still only a 5 minute walk from downtown!

Moving into 78 Olive I had mixed feelings. Living in the city you were raised in, Downtown New Haven.. 3 yrs later. I wouldn’t trade it for the world . I love my little 15 ft ceiling apt. Hardwood flooring is just an added bonus. Elevator service doesn’t always work but hey, we can all stand to shed a few lbs taking to the steps. How can I forget having the ability to walk just about anywhere from your fav bar to The Yale Bookstore. 78 Olive is a hidden gem

Good apartment with reasonalble price

I have lived here since last October. It's great for the big apartment and lower price. I will recommend it to my friend because it's a good value for money building.
