Please makes the amenities we pay for accessible

I've been living in this community for 5 months, and so far everything has been mostly great. However, we signed a lease with Avanti based on the clear amenities listed on the website for a clubhouse, 24/7 gym, and splash pool. I understand that amenities needed to be restricted for some time due to COVID-19, but it has gone too far.  We've been told for 5 months that the gym was not open due to needing a code lock that was waiting to be installed. We were told they need to hang tvs for renovations, something that doesn't hinder use of the gym for weeks on end. We have been patient. We've been told it would be a few weeks when it has been months, all the while we are paying utility fees each month for amenities that we cannot use. In my opinion, this is false advertising. We were not told when signing a lease that none of these amenities would be available. We've been sent emails from the community manager that says that the gym will be open "as soon as guidelines allow" and when we move into "phase 3 of the recovery readiness guidelines." This is nothing more than smoke and mirrors, and it seems much more like Copper Ridge just doesn't want to deal with opening amenities that residents pay for. We received an email yesterday that gyms would be opening only during office hours of 10am-6pm. This is still not 24 hour gym access and is not accessible to people that work during business hours. This is not due to public health guidelines.  I work for the congressional representative over this district specifically covering both public health and housing, and am acquainted with public health guidelines. These guidelines mentioned by Avanti staff are not coming from health agencies to keep community gyms closed. Is this an Avanti guideline for readiness recovery? I understand that COVID-19 puts a difficult burden on businesses to find new adaptable practices, but gyms all throughout our communities have adjusted and been open for months. Copper Ridge Apts

A week ago it snowed 2 feet. Our parking area and streets within the complex were not plowed well - oiles of snow in the way, very icy especially where the sun doesn't hit it and no wheres near enough salt put down - ice in some places is a couple of inches deep. It is scary to have to maneuver this and very dangerous. The situation is unconscionable. Some of the walkways were never cleared (mine was certainly not nor was any de-icing thrown on the stairs. Some of the paths are narrow too and not easy to walk if one carries bags or children. Where is the snowblower???? and if you do not have one - get one!!! Some angry tenants here.

Snow Removal = Atrocious

The entrance from Century Drive is almost unusable and very dangerous at the moment. I don't understand why there aren't more steps taken to remove/move the snow to create a safe environment for residents to drive and walk in. There are no steps taken during the day when most cars are gone to remove snow or salt the parking lot and make it better day by day. There is one plow that comes through and then it's never touched again. The parking lot is often covered in black ice, as are the stairs to the units. Please keep your resident's safety top of mind and your #1 priority!

Don’t move here!

Parking is horrible, office staff seem to not know what is going on. Things go unfixed or you have to fix them yourself! In the last big snow, residents were left to fend for themselves as none of the side walks were shoveled, the plowed the driveway, but it blocked several cars, we have bought a shovel and will once again remove our own snow! Not a great place to live. The. Garbage services have been canceled many times a as well, not sure why the rent is so high for no services. Don’t recommend moving here! As long as they get money for rent, they don’t care about the residents!
