Always readily available

My wife and I have lived here for 3 years. Zoe has always been friendly and quick to respond to all requests and ensures that any maintenance is carried out quickly and efficiently. She always is smiling which shows in her work and it carries on to her maintenance staff.

Okay but some issues

I have lived in Mountaineer Village for 6 months. It is right by Western Colorado University and Main Street, so there is easy access to classes and grocery and other shopping. The neighbors are mostly quiet, although there are occasional parties. In my apartment the front windows do not open, this is not too much of a problem most of the year. However, during the summer the apartment was stuffy and hot. Also, there was a bit of a problem with ants during the summer. I have just discovered that the bedroom windows have little insulation, so the rooms are freezing at night in the fall/ winter. The living room remains warm though. There is lots of space in the apartments, mostly in the living room and kitchen area. Dogs and cats are allowed in the apartments. However, the maintenance is quick to blame anyone with a dog when they see dog mess. They don't evaluate what size dog must have left the pile, they just fine whoever is close by. I am not a fan of the new parking system either. I appreciate that all the renters should have a space to park. However, I feel paranoid about parking in the wrong spot which would result in towing.

Great location - Terrible parking

This complex has great staff and a good location in Gunni. However, the parking situation is horendous! The spots barley fit a compact car and there's barely enough parking for the residents.
