*don’t listen to third parties telling you there is AC in the units, there is not! That’s a lie I and other have been told before moving in (in contract law, that’s called misrepresentation)* Four Star manages, which could tell you everything you need to know. My only positive is the maintenance employees, great people and super responsive. I’ve lived here longer than four star owned the building (2 years), but they’ve finally priced me out by charging $1540 for a unit that they *currently* advertise for $1325. They punish existing residents by slowly pricing them out, all while providing a -$200 price difference for people willing to move in. How am I, or four star, supposed to justify paying $200 more for an identical unit that the property has not improved at all? Predatory. There’s no AC, and you must pay to use the laundry in the building. The turnover rate is wild: at least 6 property managers in two years, and triple the tenants. Do not expect to be able to communicate with the property managers, they change too often. But they’ll somehow always be able to get in contact with you for larger arbitrary maintenance stuff (please let tenants know what units you need to enter before saying that tenants could be FINED if we don’t allow access. We have to make work accommodations, and you never ended up entering my unit anyway despite me emailing you for confirmation). If this sounds like a good place to live for you, expect to only stay a year before they raise your rent but keep it the same for anyone new moving in.

I have lived here for a little less than a year, my neighbors are nice and welcoming. my apartment has beautiful natural light. I would recommend living here because we are within walking distance of a lot of place like grocery stores and restaurants.

So far the overall experience has been a positive one. The complex is in a great location, my neighbors are good people and for the most part they are all friendly. The yard is nice and spacious and the patio area is a good spot to relax outdoors. Maintenance is responsive and friendly. Requests are easy to make. Payment portal is useful though doesn't always function well. Doorbell in foyer for my unit does not work. Front door knob of my unit remains broken - building code violation and fire hazard. Apartment not cleaned before occupation - dust, dirt, cat feces, boot prints on the floor, foggy windows, screens missing, sink leaked, front door knob damaged upon move in. Electrical system grounding is faulty, all lights dim when appliances are activated in any outlet in the apartment - fire hazard. Washers do not always clean clothing in a single cycle. Only one dryer works but is stuck on the highest heat setting regardless of selection. Community water spigot never repaired. Some of the bikes locked to our back fence appear to have been forcibly removed without notice or request by property management company recently - never saw a notice on front door or in foyer or email request to remove bikes for what I can only assume was weed trimming. Only one parking spot per each unit - no offer to help with residential street parking permits. Was informed that our complex does not have a property manager - attempted to speak to what appeared to be a manager when they were at the units - rude, standoffish, and unwilling to acknowledge me back in August. Was on the phone "s*** talking" residents while taking pictures of property. Management can be really hard to connect with in general - only had success taking time off of work to drive to office on Pearl street for questions and concerns - phones usually "down" or go straight top voicemail which was full all 6 times I tried to connect with them.

I was told that the apartment had lan connection for router it has not got any connections in the home no tv ariel, i was told it didn’t have a/c but celling fan there is not upset a little bit

Only one dryer works across about 20 apartments and it's hard to get laundry done. Parking is only available in the back alley and it's small. The workers have all been really nice and the new owner is working hard to improve the place, which is appreciated.
