2141 Baseline review

I have lived here at 2141 baseline rd for about 5 weeks now. the property itself is nothing impressive, but stuff works so its fine. the building is very old and its age clearly shows. it looks a little trashy inside the hallways to be honest, and the elevator does not work and is completely destroyed inside, but that hasn't been a problem for me because I just take the stairs. Inside the unit is alright, but everything is clearly the original from when the building was built back in 1973. And the way my apartment set up is really weird and annoying because the full bath is connected to one of the bedrooms and the doors don't lock. Basically the building itself could really use some renovations and even some remodeling in some units like mine with the weird bathroom setup. The only thing I would actually say I am impressed by or that is above average is the location. But all of that would be fine, the issue I have is how much the rent is for what we are getting. I wouldn't say its a total ripoff but it definitely is on the expensive side considering that everything is so old and rundown, theres only 1 bathroom for a 3 bedroom unit, and one of the bedrooms is clearly not supposed to be a bedroom but they just put up a wall and called it a bedroom so they could raise rent. The room has no closet and isn't even 100 sqft. Given the condition of the unit I am in, they are charging probably 10%-205 too much.
