Persistent Laundry Woes

I was excited to move into 145 Leavenworth because of its high-tech features and affordable price. Unfortunately, I continue to experience ongoing maintenance issues with the laundry room, which has led to significant challenges. When I moved in, there were seven washers. Over time, several have broken down, and despite multiple maintenance requests, they still haven’t been fixed. My tickets have been closed without resolution, leaving me waiting an extra 19 minutes for a machine that should be readily available. For a new building, this is simply unacceptable. The limited number of functioning machines has also resulted in heightened tensions among residents. For example, today I waited for a washer to finish, called out for the owner, and when no one responded, I moved the finished laundry so I could start my cycle. Later, the owner returned, became very upset, and even made a comment that felt derogatory and possibly threatening toward me. I do want to give management credit for sending out an email to all residents regarding the laundry situation. The email reminded everyone that the vendor will be coming by to repair the machines and urged residents to be considerate neighbors by promptly emptying their machines and using the designated trash cans for dryer sheets and empty detergent containers. This proactive communication is appreciated, as it helps ensure that everyone knows when the repairs are scheduled and discourages unnecessary confrontations. While I acknowledge this effort, the underlying issue remains unresolved. Until the machines are fully operational, conflicts and inconveniences will likely continue. Once the repairs are completed, I’ll be sure to update my review with the new developments. To be fair, management has been responsive when it comes to fixing other amenities, such as the elevators. However, the ongoing neglect of the laundry machines is a significant drawback for those who rely on them daily. If you don’t care much ab

All the amenities you see on the website are bait and switch. The televisions on the roof are. not accessible to watch. The bbq's and firepit breaks down, it takes the 4-5 months to fix them. They advertise a community garden, FALSE. There is no garden for a community to grow things in. They advertise on site storage for tenants. FALSE. It's here, they jsut don't let tenants use it. I was hoping to utilize this as I have a lot of stuff and the rooms are small, so I moved in thinking storage would be available. NOT. They screwed me over. There is a filtered air system, BUT IT DOESN"T work. Don't think you might have control of the temperature in your room, you don't. There is a thermostat in your room, but you need a password for it and they don't give you one. Did I mention there is no air flow? USPS doesn't deliver the mail to each individual mailbox, so the duty is on the employees, which that includes the assitant manager and his assistant. Bridge Management doesn't seem too concerned about all the important mail that has gone missing regardless how much the tenants complain. Same goes with the bike storage that has repeatedly been broken into with expensive bikes stolen out of. The general manager was fired four months ago and Bridge Management hasn't replaced him. There are good points about this place, but the bad points are so bad that unfortunately they aren't worthy to mention.

The building is well maintained and the units looks pretty good. The amenities are also a plus but shouldn't be a deciding factor.
