Go Cardinal!

I've lived here since 2016. I love the location and the value is very good. Thank goodness Stanford offers this type of place for its employees/students. Overall it's an excellent residence, though one complaint is how inconvenient it is to dispose of compostable items. Still, highly recommended if you are eligible for a spot.

Great place to live

Sometimes it may be difficult to find guest parking spaces, but in general it works fine. Amenities include lots of lounge areas, a club room with a pool table and a gym; but no swimming pool. The staff is extremely nice and capable, and maintenance is great. My favorite feature, though, is location. It's surrounded by restaurants and markets of all kinds, within walking distance from the San Antonio caltrain station, and good access to freeways. Also, the foothills nature preserve is pretty close, and Stanford University Campus is within a 30min bike ride, so no need to drive everyday.

Mixed bag

Location is great. Amenities are generally good as well as parking. Elevator had been out of service for months. Also, numerous false fire alarms have been very disturbing and disruptive. Responses to noise complaints about neighbors have not been helpful.

Elevator service is my only major complaint

I've enjoyed living here for 4 years and the location is unbeatable, walking distance to all kinds of grocery stores and shops. My biggest complaint has been how frequently the elevators have malfunctioned. There are not a lot of convenient stairs options to get to cars in the garage, so the elevators are essential for morning commutes, and it seems like our breaks down every other week. And each it it takes 2-3 days for repair to be complete. This has been the case for months, maybe a full year. It's a huge source of frustration in an otherwise wonderful setting.
