Not the nicest company plus long process

The process to rent this place was tedius. During my previous rent properties never ask me to come to sign, give the deposit and then sign lease, then give rent and then puck up the keys. That was unnecessary in my opinion plus i work during the times of operation and my lunch hour is at the same time than property mgmt. Why just ask for deposit and rent at the same time wihile sign lease and then pick up the key. Also it takes several days to complete a work order. It shouldn’t take longer than two days. Also some other agencies previously has given me a welcome letter or so into the property, this agency didn’t even say welcome.

Lovely Place

I have lived at Aspen Village apartments for nearly 2.5 years, and I have had a great time living here. The apartment has big, beautiful windows and wide windowsills that are perfect for my cat's to enjoy the trees and sunlight. The office is always prompt and communicative. The only con is it's close to a busier road, so sometimes loud cars will drive by and peel out; in addition, the parking lot is really small.

Great place to live--prices, amenities, and staff are good

I have lived here about 6 months and it has been great. I love the area, the staff are friendly and kind, the rent is good value. One thing I really appreciate is when the leasing office gives residents food--it is such a nice treat and makes me really happy to live here.

Safe, clean, and kind

Living here the past 6 months has been a really good experience. Having lived in other apartment complexes in Davis, the staff here really does a lot for the residents. They provide donuts every morning, Mon-Fri, and are friendly when I stop by to pick one up. And during finals week last fall, they provided free breakfast and snacks for residents. They also had a burrito event at some point last fall too where residents could stop by and get free food from a local place. It was great. The apartments themselves are also kept up really well. Maintenance is helpful and quick to address service requests, and they will put on shoe covers to walk on the carpet too. I feel like it's a really safe neighborhood as well, and I like that I can study in the lounge late at night and feel comfortable. 10/10
