Would recommend, but with a warning...

My husband and I have lived here for approximately two and a half years. We absolutely love the location! It is very easy to jump on the freeway and we are near the Ponderosa Plaza, Target Center, and Outlets. When you submit a work order for maintenance, it's completed fast! The laundry room has extended it's hours, which was helpful for those who work all day. Overall, this has been a good experience. Our main concerns are as follows: PARKING. Parking is terrible! There is no designated parking for guests. Not ideal if you like to entertain. Residents can pay more for garage parking (there is a waiting list), but when you first sign the lease you are giving one "reserved" spot, regardless if it is a household with two vehicles. The parking stickers they give are useless because Mountain View Management has not been properly keeping track of which sticker belongs to which resident. If someone is parked in your spot and no other parking is available, you are out of luck. The security team has their hands tied since Mountain View Management has restricted their authority. We are still waiting for new parking stickers (and hopefully a new system) that the office had promised. One night, upon returning home late, we found a full parking lot, including our spot. We were out until 12AM talking with security until, by chance, the owners saw us and moved their car. NOISE. The fire station is just down the street so it is not uncommon to hear sires at all hours of the day and the apartment is located near busy a road and intersections. MAIL. Previously, any large packages that didn't fit in your mailbox would go to an on-sit mail room near the leasing office. Now, you must drive to the post office for your stuff. Hard to do if you work all day. HOT WATER. It takes a VERY long time for hot water to come, especially in the morning. Management recently changed the shower/faucet heads for water conservation. Although, another way to save water is have it get hot faster.

Mountainview Apts. A good place to live

I have lived at Mountainview for over 5 years. It has generally been a quiet, well maintained property, and, for the area, a reasonably priced apartment complex.
