Review edgewood apartments

The office manager Shannon Makes the apartment complex a hostile environment With the way she deals and handles situations Like it is nonchalant and not her problem It would be a lot better area to live in If we had an office manager that took care of problems And cared about the people that are paying for her paycheck And the maintenance never gets done in the apartment I had black mold in my apartment for several months After them getting tired of me bugging them to get it fixed 3 months later it finally got fixed So I would much appreciate it Is for the Edgewood apartments owned by MC residents To have better customer service skills And at Or at least care about the residence that live here.

Perhaps choosing a different property would have been better

Where to begin... under5standably, the pandemic had a lot to do with operating the property considering the limited access to amenities, but that is no excuse for the lack of property management overall. This year (2021) property management decided to undergo a major facility upgrade, which not only is inconvenient and obstructive, but the lack of communication was abhorrent. The paint crew did a substandard job and never prepped the surfaces, so it will have to be repainted again in a few years. Overspray and missed spots are clearly visible. The choice of red doesn't seem to have been very well thought out. Additionally, now that the apartment below us is supposed to be a model unit, putting construction equipment and roofing supplies at the very front of the property, not only looks like a construction site (which should have been placed at the BACK of the property and out of sight), yet signs have been placed throughout the front of the property stating that renovations are underway, but does someone want to visit a construction site while viewing the model unit? This renovation doesn't really look very good, nor was it a very god idea. Parking: this one goes without saying much. Our covered space has been occupied since we moved in (space 417) and although we said something on the second day after we moved in, the space is still used by another resident and parking spots haven't been enforced whatsoever. The final nail in the coffin (so to speak) is the upcoming recovering of the black top, where what limited parking already exists because of the bad planning of construction equipment at the front of the property; now the residents are expected to find different parking spots while losing what little spots are available? This whole situation is less than desirable when considering whether to extend our lease for another year; management has chosen to undergo these changes, without proper planning or resident consideration. Very unsatisfied!

Would have liked BOTH pools opened and packages allowed to be dropped off in office. I lost quite a few packages.

way to expensive not worth it

my rent has gone up hundreds of dollars over the 5 years I've been here but nothing has been updated. The location is good but the apartment is definitely not worth the price. After 5 years I will be moving when my lease is up. Way to expensive. Not worth it.
