Well managed and maintained
Lived there since it was an Independent Living Apartments. Lived there 8 years.
Excellent location and excellent staff.
My uncle lives there and he is very happy. He has shopping and food services and restaurants close by, where he can choose to go eat. Staff is very friendly and helpful. If he has an issue, it gets taken care of immediately.
No work done
I have been in my apartment for three weeks now and the work that should have been done before my move still has not been done. There are more maintenance workers but it appears that they are directed to do what is called renovations. The housekeeping crew never cleaned my apartment prior to my move in and no one has come to do that work nevertheless the rest of two pages of problems since I moved in. I finally got hot water to my kitchen sink and the doors that had fallen off my pantry was installed but my master bathroom sink doesn’t drain, my bathroom door doesn’t close as well as the other of the two pages I turned in from when I moved in. There is no pool, no smoking policy so if we want fresh air the smoke lingers because of the covered walkways, my windows don’t open so if I want fresh air from the other side of my apartment that’s impossible, no pool for a month, dogs running free dropping feces even though there is a dog park and people are dropping toxic old used cigarette filters on the ground there and leaving their dog unattended. The gentleman at the desk tries to be helpful but we still have no manager and hopefully if we ever do get one for over three weeks maybe if allowed, that person can turn this place around. Can you imagine allowing a child to skate in the gym, pool room, lunch room in the evening. Some staff members do live here but nothing gets said and nothing gets done. On the bright side we do have our pot lucks every two weeks if the room doesn’t get destroyed. We do have many nice new families and it is good to hear the children playing. I hope that we get a manager who can straighten everything out before this lovely place is run to the ground.
Once in nothing gets fixed
Whoever is running the show here must be given a quots to fill apartments. That might be because the apartment I moved into was not cleaned the flooring was scared in many places, urine stained floor in master bath, sink doesn’t drain, no hot water to kitchen sink, doors don’t close, doors falling down, I can go on but my fingers hurt and I would be writing for an hour which would be more work than was done to prepare my apartment. It’s been almost two months since I moved in. Dtill looking for the plush carpet in my bedroom but what I got was old laminate with a hole in the middle of my bed and many scars throughout. I keep trusting that it will get fixed but I’m beginning to have my doubts.
