Manager On Site Is Needed
I have lived in this apartment complex for about three years. You will end up doing your own Maintenace The Property Maintenace crew is from Phoenix and the Pearce area. The residents here are mainly Mexican that will not speak English nor have any desire to learn. The kids are very noisy and disrespectful like their parents. It's very sad to come home from a long day of work.to the run downed apartments. All the owners are concerned about is making money, and not putting any into the building. Sad to say no one can drink the water here, too much calcium. You are lucky to have heat as well. Not bad, if you need a roof over your head, but don't expect too much otherwise. This apartment is great if you need an apartment and work in the area and can't speak English.
Great Location and Area
I have lived at the Sunsites Apartments for around 5 years. I love the location and can walk to the Dollar General. Our community is very friendly and peaceful. Post Office, Car Wash and restaurants are close by and in walking distance. The apartment I live in needs a nice upgrade with paint and new flooring. However, then my rent will increase. I am content for now, Even, with the ongoing water issues in the area. The property managers try to keep up with the weeds and grass mowing. Very little Maintenace on existing residents but aim to upgrade vacant apartments. Most people that live here do not speak English. A big language barrier for communication. There is no laundry facilities onsite. Personally, I prefer doing laundry at a nearby laundry mat. So far, my experience is a positive one,
Upkeep Concerns For The Residents
I have lived in the Ford Street Apts. for two years. My apartment can use some repairs, such as a heater, fixing the gas leak. The Apartment I live in hasn't been painted in over 8-10 years. I have known all the owners and investors of the complex personally. My apartment has worn carpet with cigarette burns, so I have put a nice rug over the old worn out rug. The property management company does not do anything to upkeep the complex. There is only four people living here, most residents have moved on to something better to live in and you can't blame them. I pay my rent on time every month but feel that's all the management company is concerned about. On a positive note there is no drug activity yet, but this complex has domestic violence issues and drug activity in the past. It seems safe to live so far,in the last 3 months. The rent is high for what a resident is actually getting.

Cleanliness
Very sad to do laundry here as a resident washers are filthy. Garbage can is full, no one that uses the washing machines clean up after them selves. I choose to do my laundry at a clean facility. After working all day, pulling into the parking lot with an old couch and beer cans under stairwell is shameful!
