Convenient to everything! Needs updating!

The Avenues of South Hoover are a great place to live. The staff is friendly and for the most part accommodating. However, the units are in serious need of updating and remodeling to be relevant. I still have a wall plug for an old fashioned land line in the kitchen. I haven't seen one of these in almost 20 years. The units need insulation to soften the sounds coming from the neighboring units and the floor above me squeaks every time the person above me walks. However, I'm not hard to please and give the community a 6 out of 10.
