There is plenty of stuff to do in South Austin. Six buildings in the neighborhood are on the National Register of Historic Places. The J.J. Walser Jr. residence is one of the homes designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright, built in 1903. One of Wright’s students designed The First Congregational Church of Austin, another site on the register.
Columbus Park is a great place to go for families with kids, or just to relax and take in some nature.
