Greater Cleveland Apartments for Every Taste: Check Out the Largest Rental Properties Completed in 2015
You know that curiosity killed the cat, yet you always hope you can get away with a peek, right? We at RENTCafé can feel your struggle! For example, lately we found ourselves really eager to see what were the largest apartment developments completed last year in Cleveland. Yeah, really… So we jumped head first into the Yardi Matrix database and filtered out everything above 50 units, and with a 2015 completion date.
Our research shows that 13 such apartment projects were completed in the Forest City (hope you’re not superstitious), totaling 2,066 units. The largest of them all was The Vue Beachwood in the city’s east/southeastern suburbs with no less than 348 rental units in a single, colossal construction. By contrast, 2014’s largest property by unit count was the residential component of the Concierge Living at the 9 mixed use project in Downtown Cleveland with 194 apartments.
Style-wise, there’s really no clear trend to speak about, which is good news as you can choose from anything between modest, suburban garden-style communities like the Retreat at Stonecrest by Redwood, and the full-on downtown experience that the Residences at 1717 high-rise has to offer.
But why waste your time with words? We all know what a picture is worth. Scroll down and see for yourself the 1,900 units worth of brand new space in Cleveland’s 10 largest rental developments completed in 2015:
