With more than 100,000 new jobs added in each of the recent years, lots of high-profile companies, and living costs well below those of NYC and San Francisco, Houston is an increasingly popular living destination.

Drawn to the city by the booming (and well-paying) energy and health care sectors, millennials have significantly contributed to the city’s population growth – a 22% increase from 2005 to 2013. The housing market and local apartment communities were quick to adapt to the needs of this growing segment, competing in amenities and services meant to appeal to this demographic.

So having to pick from all of Houston’s fabulous apartment buildings may have gotten even harder. We thought we’d help out local renters by putting together a list of 10 of the best-rated apartment communities in Houston, that’s why we turned to Yelp and Facebook to pinpoint Houston apartments with high ratings and good reviews; and here are the front-runners:
