Autumn is a foodie’s dream
Simply by replacing summer makes autumn a very unpopular kid. This thief of the warm, long days, the friend of rain, and messenger of frost on the morning green grass, is actually not that bad. It has some pretty good reasons to be happy about and moments to look forward to, how does fall charm you?
Foodies love it for its comfort foods – restaurants switch the menus, rolling out warm and hearty dishes without going through hell’s temperatures when turning on the oven.
Beer fans love it for the deliciousness behind seasonal ale assorted with pumpkins, and pumpkins simply make it glow.
Not only through the cute/scary faces carved into them, but also through the pumpkin breads and pies, pumpkin risotto and toasted seeds, pumpkin spiced lattes or the tasty breakfast choice of pumpkin steel oatmeal. Warm beverages become part of family for the next six months.
Hot coffees and teas, boiled wine with cinnamon and pepper, are what the mind and body need to adjust to the outdoor temperatures.
What your favorite autumn food or beverage to enjoy?
