3 shops that you never knew you couldn’t live without
These clothing boutiques in Philadelphia will be your new favorite places to shop.
So, you’ve done the department store circuit and you already know what’s there. You’re avoided the big name international chains because you maxed out your credit card the last time (and then realized five people in the Starbucks were wearing the same shirt as you). And now you’re stuck.
You simply want something different to spice up your wardrobe but you’re in a fashion rut.
Don’t worry about it! We’ve located three boutiques that can amp up your wardrobe in no time flat. You’ll wonder how you ever lived without these shops.
Delicious Boutique appeals to shoppers who don’t mind a dash of edge and a hint of sass in their fashion. This shop is like foster care for distressed, deconstructed, off-the-beaten path apparel that’s just waiting to find a home in your closet. Three cheers for having a decent-sized men’s department!
Arcadia boutique connects shoppers with eco-friendly and often handmade garments that are fashionable, comfortable, and pretty sure to give you good karma. . In addition to earth-friendly goodies, there is a small section of the stores dedicated to high-quality recycled clothing and vintage pieces. There are two stores here (on 2nd Street and 20th Street) so shoppers can enjoy easy access from either side of town.
Vagabond is probably my favorite shop on Third Street. I love the versatility of the clothing found here: everything—tops, bottom, shoes, accessories—fits within a neutral palette. You can pick up just about any four things in the store and they’ll coordinate effortlessly. These are great style options for fashionistas who don’t want to look overworked.

Sugarcube on 3rd Street in Old City is always amazing. http://www.sugarcube.us

Thanks for the input! We’ll have to check that out.
Second that! Sugarcube is a gift and brings so much to the region! Its a go-to shop with vision.
I’m not sure how I’ve survived all this time without hearing about Sugarcube. Thanks, ladies, for the recommendation.
Tell your friends to add their favorite shops to this list, too, so we can pass good, local shopping recommendations to other Philly residents!
Sugarcube equally supports men’s fashion and yes –a gift with vision!
