The Taste returns to Los Angeles in style
It’s the eclectic neighborhoods, the hustle-and-bustle lifestyle, the plethora of outdoor festivals and summer fun that make this city so unique and wonderful to live in. Even if it means the end of summer, any pretext is good to whoop it up in LA. And nobody knows how to party better than Angelenos, right?!
This September we get to celebrate Labor Day in style with lots of engaging events, popular social gatherings and most importantly scrumptious foods and luscious drinks. Whether you choose to revel in the sun, spending the weekend at the beach, host a cookout at home or catch up on your favorite series, this holiday is all about relaxing and having a good time.
The Taste, Los Angeles Times’ annual celebration of the Southern California gastronomic scene, promises an even better show this year, combining all the right ingredients to make an awesome event. The sparkling ambiance abounding in exquisite fare and enticing beverages will be further enhanced by the presence of renowned chefs eager to show off their culinary skills.
The Taste extravaganza features some of the best locally-focused, internationally-flavored delicacies, unlimited food and drink tastings from more than 40 of the area’s top restaurants, cooking and mixology demonstrations from celebrity chefs, wine tastings and seminars from some of the top vintners in the world, panel discussions, engaging music and more.
Grand names of the industry will add to the fest’s reputation, including Thomas Keller (Bouchon, The French Laundry), Nancy Silverton (Mozza, La Brea Bakery), Ludo Lefebvre (LudoBites), Susan Feniger (STREET), Roxana Jullapat (Cooks County), Nyesha Arrington (Wilshire), Jason Kim (Forage), Bricia Lopez (Guelaguetza), Kris Yenbamroong (Night + Market), Ricardo Zarate (Picca, Mo-Chica), Judy Han (Mendocino Farms, Blue Cow), Alie Ward and Georgia Hardstark (Cooking Channel).
The event will be held at Paramount Pictures Studios Saturday, September 1 through Monday, September 3.
