When I decided to move here, there was no doubt in my mind that this was the place that I wanted to live. The location is perfect. There are endless restaurant options with a 10 minute radius, the gym is walking distance away and there is a park across the street where I can take my son to play right after dinner. It is very hard to find a flaw. Even the leasing team is super helpful and attentative. They make an effort to tend to your needs in a timely fashion and do it with a positve attitude. Even being able to take advantage of the leasing special at the time was spmething i was extremely happy yo take part in. Celedon on Club is a great community to live in weather you are newly graduated or simply looking for a place to grow your family. Im happy I chose to make this place my home.

Renter's guide to Lawrenceville, GA

Lawrenceville, Georgia is a classic southern city steeped in tradition, but modern in its approach to living. Best of all, the distance from Lawrenceville to Atlanta is only 30 miles. Its historic and quaint downtown district features shopping, restaurants, entertainment and tours of the 19th-century architecture. But Lawrenceville is not stuck in the past. In fact, Lawrenceville is home to the best high school in Georgia. The Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology is a leader in tech-enhanced and driven curriculum, and is the fourth best high school in the nation.

With close to 30,000 residents, Lawrenceville is much smaller than its neighbor, Atlanta. It’s an ideal city to live in if you value small-town atmosphere, but still want—or need—to be close to a big city. The drive into Atlanta can take as long as 45 minutes to an hour during rush hour, but it’s closer to 30 minutes if you’re traveling during calmer breaks in traffic. Other cities less than an hour away include Alpharetta, Athens, and Decatur. A day trip to Augusta from Lawrenceville will take about two-and-a-half hours to drive, and Savannah is four hours away. The Hatsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is only an hour away.

With an average of 215 days of sunshine per year, the weather in Lawrenceville is perfect for any outdoor activity. January’s typical high is 51°F, while July, Lawrenceville’s hottest month, maintains an average temperature of around 87°F. Not surprisingly, you won’t see a whole lot of snow—the region gets about an inch of the fluffy white stuff every year.

Tips for renting in Lawrenceville, GA

Renters’ rights are consistent across the Greater Atlanta area. Issues to look out for include the absence of a 72-hour (or any time increment) “cooling off” period that might enable a renter to change his or her mind after signing a lease. Once you sign a lease in Georgia, there is no turning back, and early termination penalties are fair game for a landlord.

It’s also important to know that potential tenants are legally allowed to inspect the apartment before moving in if they’re required to give a security deposit. All landlords have to give new tenants a list of existing damages prior to moving in. Georgia also has a “repair and deduct” law that says a renter can bill the landlord for any repairs that aren’t fixed in a reasonable amount of time.
